RGC Holds Its First Official Mehfil-e-Hamd-o-Naat and Book Launch Ceremony 2026
Rawalpindi, January 17, 2026 — The Rawalpindi Gymkhana Club (RGC) successfully hosted its first official event, a Mehfil-e-Hamd-o-Naat coupled with a Book Launch Ceremony, which proved to be a spiritually uplifting and inspiring occasion for all attendees. The landmark event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both ladies and gentlemen, reflecting deep reverence and collective devotion.
The ceremony was not only attended physically by members and guests but was also broadcast live on RGC’s official verified Facebook page, attracting over 10,000 viewers, a testament to the event’s wide reach and positive reception.
RGC expressed special gratitude to Alhaaj Syed Fasih Ud Din Suharwardi for his continued kindness, spiritual guidance, and heartfelt prayers for the Club and its members. In recognition of his valued support and contributions, Worthy Chairman RGC, Engr Aamir Khatak, announced honorary membership for him. His association with the RGC family is expected to further enhance the Club’s prestige and credibility.
An important highlight of the event was that no expenditures were incurred from RGC funds, including arrangements for food and hospitality. The event was graciously organized by AK Builders, in facilitation with RGC management and its members, setting an exemplary precedent of cooperation and generosity.
The RGC management extended sincere appreciation to all members of the Board of Governors (BoG) and individuals who played a pivotal role in organizing and managing the event. Special acknowledgment was given to Sardar Khalid Afsar Khan, along with Mr & Begum Aamir Rafique, Mr & Begum Ch. Javid Nazir, Saith Mazhar Hussain, Engr Syed Harris Hassan, Dr. Farwa Sijjeel, and Mr & Begum Imran Ali Malik, whose dedication ensured the event’s success.
Looking ahead, RGC announced plans to organize an exclusive Mehfil-e-Milad for ladies in the near future. Members were encouraged to continue extending their support, cooperation, and valuable feedback as the Club moves forward with future initiatives.
